Stratford Hall the birthplace of Robert E. Lee is one of the most architecturally important houses in the U.S. It was built in the 1730’s and was home to four generations of Lee’s. It is located on a 2,000 acre farm some of which has beautiful views of cliffs along the Potomac River in Stratford, Virginia.
